Maurizio is a painter and a journalist specializing in paranormal investigation. He had his first experience of contact with extraterrestrials at the age of seven. In 1981, he was involved in an abduction by beings from another planet, an experience which led to a radical and traumatic change in his life. Subsequently, he held other meetings with E.T.s in which he gained impressive knowledge concerning the past and the future of humanity, and the laws governing the universe.

Mauricio was born in 1952 and currently lives in Vercelli, Italy. He is a journalist, official reporter of several international conferences, and former professor at People's University of Vercelli. He is also a member of several research groups, the founder and president of the Clarion Center for Philosophical Research.
He is also an acclaimed artist (under the name JHLOS), well known in Italy and abroad for his poems, his pseudo-paintings and his musical works of suggestive intensity.
In 1959 at the age of seven, Maurizio Cavallo had his first contact experience in Sicily, which was immediately suppressed by his memory. He relived the memories of this adventure on the night of 12 to 13 September 1981, during a traumatic episode of abduction by visitors from the planet Clarion, a planet located 150,000 light-years from Earth. Through neural holograms, Maurizio Cavallo relived his childhood. In a process similar to a dream lethargy, they taught him extraordinary knowledge about the cosmos, biogenesis and astrobiology.

In other subsequent contacts, in which he was taken to spacecrafts of intergalactic travellers, he travelled through the mesh of time, to the past and a potential future of humanity, as well as to the planet of origin from which the visitors claim to be, in which he had access to shocking knowledge concerning the past and the future of humanity and the laws that govern the universe. His painful journey of physical and spiritual transformation took him to the edge of insanity, and subsequently to the luminous awareness of the meaning of human existence, concluding that human existence is nothing but a misleading shadow of the real world.
After this access to understanding, he has managed to capture the magical aspects of existence, the delicate energies of nature, the true light of the world and the hidden powers that encourage and nurture the eternal transformation of the universe.
The traumatic experiences he lived and the shocking revelations he learned have not altered his humanism and his sincere humility.

He has been invited to different TV programmes, in Italy and abroad, both on national and private channels. His book Oltre il Cielo has been published in Italian, Japanese, English and French. It contains numerous photographs taken by him during his close encounters. These images have been subjected to every test for the detection of special effects and they have been acknowledged as authentic and unique documents. In December 2009 he published a new book, Alle Sorgenti del Tempo.
In Japan, JHLOS has participated in various TV conferences and his story has been published in many specialized journals.
Through his art, Jhlos expresses the vibrant metaphysical landscapes with which he is familiar, and through his music he channels sounds and melodies of the invisible worlds.
